La Gomera proved itself to be a worth while stop in the Canary islands, where we enjoyed several quiet nights at anchor. Despite the cave dwellers of our first anchorage, hopping up the coast brought us to a number of remote, little bays where we could peacefully enjoy ourselves.
This week, we transitioned back to marina life in La Palma, where I took the opportunity to start chipping away at the long, pre-departure boat jobs list. Next week, we plan to drive up to the mouth of the volcano that formed this island, so stay tuned until then.
